  Mr Andrew Williams - Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon  
 
Mr Andrew Williams qualified form Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 1991 and is a specialist in pelvic floor surgery and assessment as well as anal fistula disease. His higher surgical training was undertaken in the South East London Region. His research was performed at St Mark’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and was awarded his Master of Surgery in 2002. He was appointed as a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon to Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 2003 and is the Clinical Director of the Pelvic Floor Unit and lead clinician for the enhanced recovery program for patients undergoing major colorectal surgery. He has a keen interest in the treatment and surgery for inflammatory bowel disease, including surgery for recurrent Crohn’s disease and ileo-anal pouch reconstruction for ulcerative colitis.
